About Us

Dr. Joseph Shoop, a resident of Broken Arrow most of his life, is a 2004 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1995, and received a bachelor's degree in cellular biology and chemistry from Northeastern State University in 2000. He and his wife Kelly have been married 13 years, and have two children, Jonah and Hannah.

He is also an active member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, the Tulsa County Dental Society, and theTulsa Endo Study Club. Dr. Shoop is very active in his church where he serves as a deacon and is a sponsor in the high school youth departments. Dr. Shoop has been on dental mission trips to South America and most recently, Africa.

Dr. Shoop worked the past seven years as a dentist in midtown Tulsa. He is glad to be opening his own practice in his hometown of Broken Arrow. "I want to exceed my patients' expectations by providing the highest quality dental care in a relaxed and comfortable environment. My goal is to make your visit such a positive experience, you won't hesitate to refer your friends and family. Everyone from young children to older adults will receive up-to-date, personalized, and compassionate care."

Philosophy of Practice

Dr. Shoop utilizes the very latest in technology and therapies available in dentistry today, but if you have anxiety about the dentist, little of that may matter. Dr. Shoop has often been heard to say to patients, " Your comfort is my first priority: when I know you're relaxed, I am free to do my best work."

Over and over again, Dr. Shoop is described by patients as "nice." He is genuinely a nice guy and that is evident the moment you meet. But Dr. Shoop is also an expert with teeth. So when contemplating a logo and philosophy of practice, it just kept coming up that Dr. Shoop is nice, Dr. Shoop does teeth, and by golly, Dr. Shoop makes teeth look nice. There you have it.
